Welcome to my crazy blog, The Menopausal Mayhem Mothers!

We all reach a certain time in life when we think that the hardship is all over. We’ve done puberty, and wasn’t that fun. We’ve done courting and possibly marriage, and if we are lucky, we have done the kids thing and all the joys that go with that! And just when we are all done with sleepless nights and poo nappies the little bastards turn into teenagers. This normally coincides with the delights of the menopause! But what are you gonna do? Dodge it? Sorry, tried that, not possible. Wallow in it? Yeah, we do that a bit. But, we have a brand new and almost fail safe approach : We find ways of making it funny 🙂

My days consist mostly of either forgetting where I am supposed to be or simply omitting to put trousers on if I do remember where my next meeting is. I spend a great deal of my time wrestling with my totally untrained Labrador called Spencer who gets me into all kinds of bother. My body is basically falling apart and expanding at the same time and there is nothing that seems to help other than taking away my wine which just leads to more ridiculousness. In short, enter here if you need a smile, a belly laugh or just quite simply to be around like minded people who are struggling with the day to day monotony of life as a menopausal woman or man come to that.
